Live Painting Performance
Muskoka Motor Rally is proud to welcome Bradley Theodore to the MMR Sunset Gala. Watch him paint a live masterpiece and take it home with you. Globally celebrated artist Bradley Theodore creates an original work live at sunset - an electric spectacle of colour, energy and raw expression.
Artist in Residence: Jemma Powell
We warmly invite you to drop in and visit Jemma Powell, our inaugural Artist in Residence, at the Mandarin Oriental Mayfair on Friday 14 November for coffee and pastries from 9-11am as she paints the panoramic view from The Hanover Bar, perched atop of the hotel, to develop Time for Seeing, a bespoke artwork for the hotel's permanent collection.
Tracing Time: An exhibition by Jemma Powell & Leah Wood
The show will run during London’s Frieze, with a Breakfast Q&A on the 15th October hosted by Scott Wimsett and a Private View on the 16th October. Hosted at Roof Gardens Kensington, the show is a collaborative exhibition by British artists Jemma Powell and Leah Wood. This marks the inaugural show in the venue’s newly established gallery space. The exhibition presents a dialogue between Powell’s abstract cityscapes and Wood’s impressionistic landscapes, exploring how both urban and natural environments shape identity and mark the passage of time.
Community Engagement
Beyond the gallery, Powell and Wood are collaborating with TimeGivers, a London-based charity connecting children and young people with their communities through volunteering. 10% of the exhibition proceeds will support the organization, and the artists will contribute to a permanent mural in Feltham, West London, created with students, local residents, and volunteers.
